Rain Frog Apparel is looking to put together a team of "froggers" for a grassroots, viral marketing campaign to help drive traffic to our website. This position is ideal for college students and other young people looking to gain marketing experience out in the field and could lead to long-term work for the right candidate.
Each one-week contract assignment will include all the required support materials, which are yours to keep. You may set your own hours. The ideal candidates will possess the following skills:
1. An awareness of and passion for environmental issues
2. The ability to gain exposure with a broad audience and work the marketing into a daily routine, such as wearing a Rain Frog shirt to class
Interested prospects should submit a proposal to info@rainfrogapparel.com that outlines how you will "virally" promote our products and drive traffic to our website and to the boutique where Rain Frog shirts are currently being carried. You are not required to sell any products; I am only seeking marketing exposure that will come across to potential customers as positive word-of-mouth. Be as creative as you like in your proposal. Below are some of the support resources that you would receive to help promote our products:
1. A bamboo women's T-shirt. Bamboo is an environmentally friendly fabric that is ultra-soft and comfortable, and I need to make people aware of how soft and eco-friendly it is (so they aren't thinking of scratchy stalks of grass when they think "bamboo").
2. Rain Frog business cards and direct-mail cards, which include the website address; the direct-mail cards do not need to be mailed, but they could be posted in appropriate locations with permission (such as student union halls, eateries, etc.).
